Legos are a big hit with most kids. I think its a shame kids toys these days are so technical though, children need their imaginations stretched.
I like these types of toys

Abbie: Crochet is fun and therapeutic. My daughter crotchets her bags, and some fashionable items.

Niceheart: yes they are fun toys and games. Good for you :)

I love lego since I was a kid. I haven't got a chance to own one also. I really don't recall why. Perhaps a Barbie doll was more appealing to me then. Though, I grew tired of having them changed on and off their usual clothes and eventualy made the clothes myself. I got my mom teach me crocheting. :-) I am making sorts of stuffs from then on. I had also a remote control car once to balance the girly stuff. :-)

In the end, thank God for mothers who takes time to nourish and cultivate their children's potentials. :-)
