A lot of these kids know how to swim so maybe the parents are complacent. But anything can happen . Like they could hit their head on a rock, cramps etc.

My goal for this blog is grief education and how to cope the loss of a child. And that death is very much part of life.

I fear many people in the Philippines are not aware of the dangers that their kids can encounter while swimming. I see kids jumping from bridges, I see kids swimming in polluted rivers, I see kids swimming after piso coins near big boats in harbours, etc.
Just this morning I saw unattended little children swimming in Laguna de Bay. Where are the parents?
I think it is good and usefull to tell the world about what happened to your son.
