@Miguel- that’s great. A photo gallery taken from phone cams. Even Nokia features photos from camera phones in an exhibit in SM Mall of Asia. It’s a start.

@Miguel- I used to be contented with my camera phone. In fact I have a 2MP camera phone but since seeing the difference in quality, I ditched the camera phone.

@Christianne- if money is not an issue, get the IXUS. I can’t afford it that’s why I chose the A710. Good for you to have your canon through all those 4 years.

Hi Noemi, I’ve been trying to choose between the A710 and IXUS 850. Both of them have the IS feature but I can’t decide which is more important, manual features (A710) or the size (IXUS 850)

Like L, malas ako sa cellphones. My old 6210 was snatched, my 3310 took a dive in the waters of Cebu, and my 7210 went swimming in Boracay. Luckily my Powershot S50 has stayed alive for almost 4 years, hehe.

I am not even interested in the art of photography. My sister is, so I leave that to her! I just want a camera handy all the time. 2MP is enough for Flickr and blogs!

@Miguel- Point and shoot cameras are the way to go for amateur photographers like me…you should try it next time. I used to take photos from my camera phone but I was floored with the photos taken my digital cameras

@Lemon- it’s worth it talaga. 7 megapixels . My photos for the month of November were taken from the Canon Powershot A710 IS. I bought the camera last week of October.

The photo above is from my macbook not the Canon Powershot A710 IS
