@nina- same here. I never appreciated all those history lessons. The kids having been exposed to the internet were so thrilled to meet their online friends

Nice. I also want to encourage my son to travel & meet people & basically experience life on his own. I will check out your net guidelines later. This is something I will need to deal pretty soon.

Travelling is a very enriching experience. I love to travel. It allows me to experience, understand amd appreciate different cultures and history. I didn’t appreciate history (world) until very recently when we went to Europe.

Nope …She has travelled to the states alone a few years back. If she travelled alone to the states, I’m not that worried for her at all.

But this is her first trip abroad with friends.

Wow. Talk about letting go. Is this the mom who years ago forbade boyfriends and grounded her daughter when she went steady just the same.

I bet she’s traveling for first time and you are more excited and happy for her than worried. And I bet you’re also finishingg up a lot of e-load keeping in touch with her now.
