What happened? I hope next time I read Manila newspapers I will read boring news like in Singapore " Singapore wins the right to host this and that convention"... and not about whistle blowers. The last time, we were the young generation," Pag Asa ng Bayan".. and now we are still in the stage were we are developing another generation of "Pag Asa ng Bayan". And to think majority of our top politicos come from prestigious schools like UP,Ateneo etc. I guess we have to rethink everything starting from the rearing of children, values formation, educational system and maybe rethink payment of salaries government employees and officials to make it more transparent and competiive so that they wont steal. As parents we should instill in our children the importance of maintaining an unblemised name and to be morally upright. Kudos to your efforts!!! Yes, we can help bring out real reforms in our time, in our own way. It's hard to get out of our comfort zones. But, we can do it if we will it. Noemi, this blog post is a great wake up call!
