this reminds me of the happy days we had with John Lesaca, who was very young then at that time, more than 25 years ago, when i only had angelo and monica, he (or was it his parents) were our neighbors in UP village. when he had the chance, he woud, on the invitation of my brother-in-law, come over to the house for jamming sessions. while he was with his violins, the other member of the family and friends would be in the grand piano or guitar, or whatever.

i would always be dreamy eyed then (in my early 20s). it was like attending a John Lesaca concert which goes on till the early morning. oh...memories!

SexyMom's last blog post..Ingat–Just What Does It Mean?

Noems, when I look at the YouTube videos of the renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, I feel the same thing... it is the pathos of the expressions that moves me... Check out the YouTube video on Libertango from the movie, "The Tango Lesson" --- and you will see Yo-Yo Ma play his cello like a tender lover dancing the tango.

Watch the June issue of Filipinas Magazine at http://FilipinasMag.com. There is a profile I wrote about a Fil-Am jazz pianist that will be published in this issue. Looks like I'm paying more attention to musicians.
