Black Eyed Peas Concert in Singapore

I am right now in Singapore for the Philippine Department Tourism (DOT) “” Take Me to the Philippines Campaign ” , a Collaboration between DOT and Black Eyed Peas Filipino Member Apl.de.ap The rains were already strong at 5:00 AM on my way to the airport. Upon arriving in Singapore, I heard my home’s first floor had flood waters slowly creeping inside. I panicked.

From the airport, I immediately monitored the flood situation in my house via skype but their electricity was cut off. By the time it was 5:00 PM, the waters in the first floor was chest deep. My kids and husband together with the helpers tried to carry as much stuff as they could in the second floor. They have no food right now and no electricity but good thing they are safe. Others are stranded.

Despite the calamity in Manilla, my work had to go on here. Nine media including 3 bloggers (Anton Diaz, Ferdz Decena and myself) DOT staff and Media Contacts PR went ahead to F1 Rocks Concert at Fort Canning.

I didn’t feel too good because my blood sugar suddenly dropped making me too weak to walk far. So I sat by the grass and waited for my favorite Black Eyed Peas Song.

My energy level lifted up when I heard the Boom Boom Pow. Everyone was dancing away. I love this song that I forgot I was totally dizzy.

Tomorrow I will get to spend time to see Apl.de.ap spin and interview him together with other media.

Mawalang galang po, pero I would never leave if there was a threat to my home and the life of my family. Not even for a free trip.

excuse me, blame pag-asa. I left at 720 am and it was just raining as usual. The torrential rain came sometime at around 9am. How would i have known? besides their dad was with my 2 adult children.and 2 maids. And good I arrived in Singapore because they had no means of communication to the outside world. still a blessing .

tell me, did you have prior knowledge ondoy would cause such flooding at 7am?

did you warn the people of the flood? did you call the airport that massive floods will arrive and people should not leave?

CNN was all over the place with Ketsana. Maybe you should monitor from their bulletins.

But, whatevs. Not a mom but I still can’t imagine making that compromise.

CNN did not predict the massive flood. Sure there was typhoon signal number 1

Well, like I said, I cannot imagine making that compromise. It’s your family and not mine. I cannot tell you how you should do things. I’m just saying…

The thing that bugs me, though, is, it’s just a concert. You didn’t have to go. They’ll understand. Sorry, am I adding to the guilt? I should just shut up now.

Peace out.

i didnt go to singapore for concert . it was a campaign for tourism in the Philppines. .I am glad I went because I got in touch with the Singapore govt to help out Ondoy Victims. and also apl.de.ap promised to donate. I inteviewed him myself.

There is no guilt. You are just a troll who is full of envy. Most of all, I am just sorry you have no discernment.

aww sorry you are not aware that you are an internet troll because your arguments are illogical. Better read up on it.

what is an internet troll?
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-an-internet-troll.htm

. Internet trolls are differentiated from people who genuinely wish to present a different viewpoint by their attitudes and aggressiveness; their goal is not to discuss a situation, but to frustrate the members of a discussion board. They often use fallacious arguments or attack the users of a site when they attempt to defend themselves from the troll’s activities.
