Just came from the First International VoIP Conference in the Philippines at the World Trade Center. The conference is timely because the House of Representatives just recently approved the VoIP deregulation bill on June 5, 2006. The Senate has yet to approve it. [tag]Voice Over Internet Protocol[/tag] ([tag]VOIP[/tag]) is a transmission technology that uses the internet to send voice and image in real time. Bah, I’m tired to talk about it so just browse the photo gallery
we’ve been using vonage for over a year now and it’s great — it has saved us a lot because my parents and i spend a lot of time on the phone talking while i’m away at school 🙂 voip is definitely something cool!
cris: I have no use for it right now. I used skype though to talk to my sister in the UK
Deregulation of VOIP was my thesis when I was in law school. I hope it gets passed into law soon.
Toe: it’s almost there. Congress said it’s as good as PASSED.
