Portion control and Dining out

ponzosponzos(View enlarged images) After attending mass at the St. Alphonsius Ligouri, we dropped by at “Ponzo’s” for lunch. “Ponzo’s” menu is fusion with a delectable array of pasta, meat , healthy vegetarian dishes. I dread dining out of the comfort of my home. Eating out can ruin my weight management plan however it can be a great bonding time with husband and the girls. My trick is to avoid or minimize the carbohydrates and just eat the protein. The Korean beef stew was quite delicious. I added 3 tablespoons of rice to it though. How can one eat beef stew alone? The kids ate pizza pie as appetizers and ate their chicken parmesano and Inasal Chicken dishes as their main course. The pizza crust was thin, crisp and tasty. Lunch ended at 2:00 PM. Fortunately , I didn’t overstuff myself so I was able to work out in the gym at 3:00 PM. My husband reminded me to be back home by 5:00 PM because of a birthday dinner for his mom at “The Banana Leaf”. OH NO!
