I have no idea how the banking sector works or how credit scores are attained. All I know is we have an excellent credit history as we never missed payments. Maybe , I thought, we might get a second housing loan. Who knows?

Thanks for the info! This is surely handy as I am thinking of getting a loan too. what about PAGIBIG?

  • http://aboutmyrecovery.com Noemi

PAGIBIG lowered their rates already. I think it went down to 7% . My husband hasn’t tried to avail yet.

I availed of China Bank loan. It’s really low at 9% but I don’t know what it ‘ll be like in two years.

I can really understand the budget problem while buying a home! But there is a cool thing that you can do if you dont want to go for a mortgage: you can search for rental homes with a buy-option in the contract. First rent and then buy.
I think that is a nice alternative.

    cheers,
    Thomas
