Have you ever been in denial? Of course, we face denial now and then. It’s not necessarily bad. It’s a way of protecting ourselves from pain, at least temporarily.
I can’t help but be happy for my cousin, Margot. Last Friday, she walked down the aisle in her lovely beaded gown with Dwight, the love of her life. I have often wondered why my beautiful, kind and smart cousin-doctor was still single at 30 something. I often dismissed it as not finding the right man. Wise girl. I never asked her but I am sure she often gets the brunt of questions from nosy relatives.
“Why are you not married yet? ang ganda ganda mo. wala pa ba nagkagusto sa yo? .”
If a Tim Cumper alias Ellumbra or otherwise known as Timothy Ellis Cumper or Grabbadabba via Twitter talks about me and other bloggers in a negative light, this is the story. Tim Cumper believes that he was scammed, fooled by Mayen, Tierra Maria Estates and a group of people since October 2007. It is almost 2 years after and he is in pursuit of bloggers who have written about this.

A guy with a pin to burst your bubble
That’s what you get for all your trouble.
I’ll Never Fall In Love Again
Mayen Betita paused to sing their love song, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again”. She giggled and placed her hand on mine as if placating the pain from narrating the harrowing events leading to the breakup with Timothy Ellis Cumper (also known as Ellumbra or Tim Cumper) her ex-boyfriend, a UK national.

I just watched Korina Today’s feature called “Beware of the Blog”. I guess bloggers are a hot topic these days because of the phenomenon of Brian Gorrel’s blog. The topic reminds me of a personal experience with two bloggers based on the questions and issues raised by Korina Sanchez as follows:
1. Bloggers are the columnist of the 20th century.
The guests believe that blogs are not reliable sources of information unless they come from respectable bloggers like Manolo Quezon. The question was then asked “What defines a respectable blogger?”
Meet The Warrior Lawyer, my husband. His blog, “The Warrior Lawyer” was probably inspired from the book, The Warrior Lawyer by David Barnhizer . I’ve never shamelessly plugged his blog (except through links) in here because he is shy. Yes, a shy blogger.

My Mom, the backseat driver entry brought about a lot of driving tips especially for Manila Traffic and female drivers. I ‘d like to share the wonderful tips from my readers. The first six tips are mine.
Enjoy!
Lauren started driving at 18 years old, rather I enrolled her at a driving school when she turned 18. I figured that she’d learn to drive a car using stick-shift just like I did at her age, instead of an automatic. We didn’t own an automatic car that time. I pride myself in being a teacher to my kids in (practically any topic) ever since they were babies but not driving. No, no….no
I want you to watch this youtube video of Happy Slip and Kevin as the latter learns to drive a stick-shift car. View it till the end because that’s the way I felt after I went on a practice driving session with Lauren the first time.
Put it in Purse

Every Good Friday was just like any other day for me. The streets are empty. Everything is still. At 3:00 PM, I’d bow my head in prayer and reflect on Jesus’ death. That is before the death of my son. I never knew what it felt to be the mother of Jesus, losing a son until of course, I lost my precious son 8 years ago. Even if Mother Mary knew that Jesus died to save us, she was just as inconsolable as any mother who lost a child. My son was “clinically dead” when I got to him and I did not see him suffer. Not that I am diminishing my own pain but I bet Mother Mary suffered one thousand times more than I did for every nail and insult given to her beloved son.
How does this pain feel? Imagine…
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Some blogosphere news… no gossip here. 🙂
The 2008 Philippine Blog Awards is still very much alive. The committee is moving the event to July 2008 because of two things: the first is because we’re still looking for an available venue that can accommodate a lot of people at a good price and second, because we’re waiting for the incorporation papers. The incorporation is crucial because receipts are needed for our sponsors. Also, a new set of officers will take place because of the incorporation. Hopefully, all the legal papers will be ready by end of April. *cross fingers*

My entry on Computer Game and Internet Addiction: The Emergence of a New Clinical Disorder caught the interest of a Health Magazine in the Philippines and published a similar article a few months later.
Take a look at the latest findings from American, Canadian and British doctors.
